Yes, people crossed the border in protest…to protest the border. If ten thousand Mexicans stormed the border in Tijuana to protest the US, I doubt we’d have our military open fire on them. We’d try to contain them by building a corral of military vehicles and wear them down, probably. But I’d like to think we wouldn’t just start shooting.

If ten thousand Canadians came across the border, it would probably be for a Redwings game.
