Nope. Works beautifully for me. Of course, I’ve been on XUbuntu Linux for years. Fast, simple, stable.

OTOH, Windows 7 is probably the real villain there. At minimum you need to reinstall it from scratch (as in backup your data, wipe the drive and install to a bare drive before restoring data) every 6 months just like every other version of Windows and ensure it’s always completely patched.

I understand if you do not like Windows, but the machine works fine with all my Adobe programs and just about everything else. It is only ad heavy web sites with videos like fucking ESPN that cause the problems.

I keep my machines damn clean. I have no crashes.

I know the real issue, the motherboard is limited in the amount of RAM it can hold. It was an old slave unit from my previous job. I kept it because it had the programs I needed to transition from my old job to freelancing. Now it is used only for some of my website work and some web browsing.
