Wow, Jon Stewart displayed a lack of understanding of the true nastiness of Dieudonn last night.

I agree that making such an arrest immediately after a massive “free speech” rally appears hypocritical and sets a dangerous precedent. However, Stewart went on to question the fact that French authorities cancelled shows by this “comedian” last year over his antisemitic stage show.

Stewart suggests the marketplace should make such decisions. The problem with that is that the marketplace DID make a decision…which is why Dieudonn was booked on a national tour to begin with.
