Your company was negligent toward you. If you had neck pain, regardless of their uneducated opinion, you should have gone to the ER for an x-ray. When I was in a similar accident and was taken to the ER on a board, I told them I didn’t think I was that hurt, and the nurse said, You’d be surprised at how many people come in here with a broken neck and don’t know it. I don’t know if she was trying to scare me, but ins took care of the bill, at any rate.

I don’t think when you’re jostled around in an auto accident that you should take too many chances, though. Just because you’re not bleeding doesn’t mean you haven’t been injured in some other way.
