The coach/political science teacher husband has been getting texts from former players since Trump was elected. Asking for the facts of what is happening so they can understand it all.

Last night, we got, “Coach, is it true Trump gave top secret information to the Russians?”

“Lots of key, reputable news organizations are confirming, so looks like he did.”

“WHY?!?!??”

“Pretty sure stupidity combined with a need to impress the Russians.”

“Why is he president?”

“This is a coffee conversation. More importantly, if you don’t like it, you and all of the people you know need to vote. This is your country too and you need to step up.”
