Ah the 80’s. TBH My idealism was dimmed before Roof but Roof really did show to me that my generation isn’t going to be the one that saves us from our past follies. I’m holding out some hope for my niece. My niece is in an unique position in my family being first generation American through her mom. Sandy Hook always makes me think about her especially as she grows older.

If anything else, it feels like our generation just made being racist and xenophobic ‘hip’ again. Thank you SO FUCKING MUCH, 4Chan and Reddit….
