I think of Kilrain’s line in the Killer Angels. That I be judged for who I am and not for who my father or his father was and that is justice.

In this vein, I remember watching the documentary about Jones Town (the cult leader) who had his followers forced to commit suicide (by either their fervent faith or by forced injection). The son of Jones was sent away (I believe by his mother) and lived and was in the documentary saying how sad and angry he was and that his father’s actions follow him around to this day - like a shadow that is always around.

Don’t blame the child for the sins of the father, but it doesn’t mean the child isn’t scared by those same sins.

That said Fredo, Gums, and Complicit are totally game to be taken down with daddy.
