Police: PA man jailed for trying to light child on fire, ‘burn the demon out of him’ (WJAC channel 6, Johnstown, Penna., yesterday)

McIntosh faces charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, making terroristic threats, arson and child endangerment, according to court documents.

TL;DR the police were called when a neighbour tried to intervene in a domestic disturbance involving the man and his child. The man threw a brick at the neighbour and injured him.

The police arrived and found the child nude and doused in gasoline. They found the man after a brief search and arrested him.

He is being held in Cambria County Prison in lieu of $75,000.
