Well here’s at least a little bit of good news:

DOD: Upon Further Review, Spent Military Brass Will Be Sold

A lizard (sorry can’t remember who) posted a link the other day to a piece about the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS) and the decision to mutilate small arms cartridge brass, rather than sell it (as they had done in the past).

The link above indicates that they’ve “re-thought” the policy, and used brass may once again be sold.
