A Round of Applause for LGF?

The comments are the usual mishmash one finds at Kos, meaning often over-run with idiocy, but I noticed these (notice also the ratings system, these are the comments getting the most ‘updings’:

LGF has long been opposed to anti-science (7+ / 0-)
propaganda. One can give Charles credit for that.

and

Some principled internet conservatism is emerging (12+ / 0-)
at LGF, and they’re catching endless hell for it.
There’s a lot of open field in front of them if they continue to run for it.

Just mentioned this Little Green Footballs (13+ / 0-)
phenomenon on the Open Thread. Andrew Sullivan noticed it too. This is good news, and the more saner conservatives call out the “village idiots” the better.

of the site…just kinda scrolled down through all of the stories…

This is someone I could actually hold a debate with. It is so refreshing to see someone on the right call bullshit on the birthers, truthers, racists, the Glen Becks, Pat Buchanans, the Tea-partiers, the climate change deniers, and all of the extremely nutty … nutcases!

I think he is what I remember from my childhood… I think they called people like him a “Republican.” Yep… that’s it! What do they call these people today? It’s certainly not a Republican, because Republicans are batshit crazy… is there any room left for people that rational but conservative in our country?

There’s still confusion, misinformation, and bashing in that post and comments, of course (because it’s Kos and that happens) but I thought this was pretty cool— and cool that these are the highest rated comments on the diary as far as I see (I’ve only skimmed).
