Actually that’s not true. Just because the bill passed, my best friend has seen a sharp reduction in the amount of drop houses he’s had to hit. Coyotes are using basic risk/reward to choose a different state to smuggle people into. Not as many people want to come to AZ. All the assinine urban legends tied to the bill that are circulating the hispanic community are further discouraging illegal immigration. Ideally, it’s the drop houses I’d like to see stopped primarily. I don’t want to completely stop immigration, but the abuse of drop houses and coyotes has to be stopped, and if the bill is slowing them down to a trickle of what they were before, then maybe it’s a positive side-effect of a potentially bad law.
