It’s stunning, really. President Obama says “It could have been my son,” and right wingers attack him for “injecting race into the discussion.”

And they don’t even seem to realize that by doing so, they’re shining a big bright light on THEIR OWN RACIST ASSUMPTIONS.

It’s almost funny, in a not-funny way.

Projecting. I don’t know but I was just thinking. Is this response to Obama’s statement fall into some aspect of Critical Race Theory? They’re obviously injecting race into it themselves which display a constant state of racialism. We know many of these people are downright white nationalists or anglocentrics. No empathy obviously. They can’t even connect with his statement on a paternal level.
