Hey seeing you and the reminder about hurricanes triggered a thought. I finally heard about my friend on Vieques. Not directly but through other friends.

She said the island is a total disaster, but she is staying to help out at the doggie shelter and her own dogs. She does some work at some kind of a resort on the other side of the mountain where she stays. If I remember correctly, the guy who designed it made it hurricane proof. I guess it stood the test. Also, her communications are a mess. I’m just glad she is okay. She is a tough gal. Just what you would expect from an artist, Dead Head, Democrat Puerto Rican!
