Former presidents and First Ladies have lifetime Secret Service protection. Children of former presidents have protection for five years or until 18, which comes second. I think same applies for VP, but not sure. Again, though, doesn’t matter, if Trump were to be arrested, they wouldn’t stop which ever agency is making the arrest. And more likely, Trump would get the white collar treatment of being able to turn himself in
