Lion prides tend to keep their cubs together for safety. In the wild, the need for females to go hunting means that by the time cubs reach these cub’s age they are sometimes cared for by their fathers while the lionesses bring home dinner. Male lions are often used as symbols of strength and manliness, but in real life the male lion is often a stay-at-home dad.
