My daughter says I am getting too negative and should back off wingnut monitoring among other things. “You can only watch and evaluate so many train wrecks a day without it eventually wearing you down. You’ve done enough. Time to relax a little and enjoy retirement.”

I have been ill lately and that may have magnified the effect on my psyche of the unprecedented insanity in the news. My escape from Lubbock should have improved my outlook, though, so maybe I should take it easy and try to stay positive.
