Ivanka is Trump’s handler. He’s obviously not in his right mind and she’s the member of the family that shields and looks after him. Melania sure as hell isn’t going to do it.

She is Nancy Reagan in his last term.

Ivanka has to have a reason to be there and she can’t be First Lady, so “advisor.”

I don’t hate her or envy her the gig. Can you imagine?

I’m not quite as forgiving as you. I’m just starting to enter the world of having to care for elderly parents/in-laws, so I have some empathy towards that.

However, she is her father’s daughter, IMO. She’s just as capable as fucking over people while whining she’s the victim (claiming she’s a stealth feminist while fucking over women employees at her own company on maternity leave) as her monster of a father.

This woman is now one of the most powerful people in the country simply because she and her husband have to be caretaker for her dad, who may be possibly senile. They have zero political experience, but are sitting in on the highest-level meetings with the military and foreign dignitaries.

That entire family is an unapologetic cancer on the White House, so what little sympathy I have for Ivanka babysitting Daddy evaporates fairly quickly.
