I’ve deliberately avoided the news until early this morning Central European Time; I spend yesterday introducing my girlfriend to Monty Python…..she doesn’t quite get the humor.

In any event, it looks like the midterms have shaped up quite nicely for the Democrats; while they didn’t win it all, which wasn’t going to happen anyway, they’ve made some damn solid gains and positioned themselves well for 2020.

And now Trump’s worst nightmare is likely about to come true: Maxine Waters (CA - 43) with virtually unlimited subpoena power.
