You might be able to check the local census documents for they and their families. I know that back in the 1970’s I worked part time in the University of Pittsburgh Library and they had a lot of the Pittsburgh area handwritten census documents from the 19th Century. Those were arranged by address and who was living in the household at the time of the census. (Strange the random dribbles of information that we encounter and remember across our lifetime.)

Ah! Well I should clarify here. The second great grandparents I don’t have the info on died in Europe. Those are my maternal grandparents’ grandparents. I have the info on my paternal grandparents’ grandparents since they all lived in the US. All are buried in Pittsburgh and all but two still have headstones despite dying over 100 years ago.
