But is there anyone left who understands these issues, cares about them, and has any influence? Pompeo — who has real credentials — has proven to be without character or decency. Perhaps Esper? And would Haspel have any say in this?

During our latest interaction with our Trumpster brother, he boasted about how all our forces were going to be shortly out of Afghanistan. Somehow my brother has become a total isolationist when it come to military action; his attitude is to strike only if someone strikes us directly but not take any action elsewhere — and that seems to be Trump’s philosophy. Maybe it reflects the Ron Paul influence — or the Putin influence on our military strategy or foreign policy.
