Yeah, the only danger you face rushing into battle is that you’ll get red jam smearing in your face and only for a few seconds if you hide behind cover. And even if you do get gunned down like some n00b, you’ll respawn at the start of the next round.

I got XCOM: Enemy Unknown and I’m impressed with the combat system. You have to have your soldiers dash from cover to cover with their teammates covering them, and it doesn’t always work.

Plus you don’t get your troops back when they die. My memorial wall is getting rather full.
