The free market absolutism is why I turn a lot of them off. They’re a diverse bunch though. Some of them I have a lot of common ground with and others may as well be Neo-Confeds since they think Lincoln was a tyrant. They always ignore when you point out that Jefferson Davis didn’t tolerate secession either, oh and the little fact that his country” was founded simply to protect the interests of slaveowners.

That free market that exists on the backs of the taxpayers to provide everything from land for railroads in the XIX Century to electricity in the XX Century to the Internet today. Yup, all built with bootstraps.
