Nooooo!!! It’s (I didn’t want to get up close to evaluate it’s sex) one of pair that’s been hanging round the neighborhood. One of the pair was hit by a car a couple of days ago. It did run off so we don’t know if it survived. These bears have been a PITA getting into garbage cans. Eventually they may get “relocated” into a remote are.

They are very smart, very resourceful, and can be incredibly annoying to deal with when accustomed to humans. That being said, I think they’re just adorable and I hope he/she gets resettled safely.
