Well, of course: this is just Basic Legislative Politics 101: a Party leader facing Leadership challenges from her own caucus? Buy the main ones off with Committee plums or a policy push (which Pelosi will certainly follow through with): and leave the few malcontents standing around (figuratively) holding their dicks. And once the lesson has been driven home, be all Unity and Friendship… with no doubts as to who is in charge.
