Earlier in week I read a piece on the farm bill, which was recently approved in a House-Senate Conference. It included a provision to increase government purchases of kosher and Halal for distribution to soup kitchens (paraphrase). Anyway, saw the “halal” part in particular and thought it wouldn’t be long before AG FOOD STAMP WELFARE BILL CREEPING SHARIAH!!1.
