Ah okay, interesting. Now that I think about it, I remember a classmate whose parents were American born but he spent a good part of his early childhood in Britain. Eventualy, I forgot that he had even lived in the UK. I imagine you probably use some British slang like my cousins do too. I also think about Frank McCourt, born in Brooklyn but lived in Limerick, Ireland until he was 19, and then spent the rest of his life in America.
