Guilty confession, I actually thought Huckabee seemed “okay” in 2008. A lot of conservatives I knew loathed him though. These same people insisted that Fred Thompson was the guy aka the true conservative supreme. Because I commuted to community college on bus in those days, I really didn’t get my choice of morning entertainment on the radio so on the days when I didn’t have my iPod, I had to listen to Rush and Rush was so confident that Thompson would win. Well Thompson ended up being a flop. No surprise at all there. Even though Thompson acted, the guy was far from charismatic and he was boring as fuck.

Okay, more embarrassing: I thought Thompson would be a good candidate before he actually got in the race.

My wisdom attributes were pretty low when I was younger…
