re: #309 klys (maker of Silmarils)

My tomatoes are all green still but I’m going to have way more than normal. I didn’t even plant but one - all the rest are from fruit that I never harvested last year that took off on their own. The cucumbers are happily vining and competing with the one tomato plant I did buy for supremacy over the big pot. I can’t tell who’s winning. (The damn zucchini is triumphing over the bell pepper plant, although maybe the pepper is doing better now that I cut off the early fruit in an attempt to encourage growth.)

I desperately wish I had a real garden instead of my collection of pots but there were reasons. Sigh.

I’ve moved to all-container, using $5.00 18 gallon totes in a grow tube. They’re drilled for drainage and watered with drip irrigators.
