But the point should be moot, right? The travel ban was only 90 or 120 days, temporary while Trump figured out WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON and putting EXTREME VETTING in place. He’s done that, right? Right?

He can’t do that until he gets his ban. Then, when he gets the ban he won’t need to do that because he can extend it via EO every ninety days for the next three and a half years.
