Remember that once David Letterman’s early stand-by punchlines usually included a reference to “the hookers in Times Square.”

Back in those days people used to tell me I looked like Peter Frampton (same haircut and color), who was riding high with the Frampton Comes Alive! record. We walked over to Times Square one night and members of our road crew told a couple of hookers that I was Frampton.

I ended up walking down the street trailed by a pack of hookers who kept asking me if I wanted a ‘date.’ Good times…
