If transmission turns out to be near universal, and it kills 2%… that’s about the same percentage that died in the Civil War.

America will be spared compared to other parts of the world because of its population density and structure. I am terribly concerned for regions that are densely populated, where normal life involves coming into close physical proximity to hundreds/thousands of other people.
