Glad to see the FAA step so hard on these goofballs. Among other things, they had requested a safety waiver for the stunt, and the FAA had explicitly denied it. There are also $4900 fines for the now ex-pilots. On top of that, I’ve heard that the insurance company has refused to pay off
on the plane that crashed.
