Well the last time we had Conservatives in power they seemed to be in global recessions. At least the deficits aren’t on the order of Trudeau era fiscal policies. As well during the Chretien era taxes seemed to be rising and benefits reduced. I do know that thanks to the Man from Shawinigan my chances of getting EI went from poor to practically nil.
