Beck is pathetic in his knee-jerk opposition to volunteering just because the President is suggesting it. What’s he going to say if Obama recommends we all work hard and care of our families?

The more volunteers we have, the less the government has to spend on handling things the volunteers are handling.

I cannot understand a conservative getting upset over the notion of volunteerism. The only thing that bothers me about volunteering is when people are directed to volunteer for A or B but not C.
