When I was a kid, gal bladder surgery left a major scar and you were in the hospital surgery for a week. Now, it’s outpatient surgery.

That’s what these Republican candidates are too chicken shit to tell their base, things are better. Maybe a guy like Christie isn’t consciously trying to talk about how society was a lot more racially segregated back then but I can’t help but to think about that when he brings up how “better” things were in the America he grew up in.
