Anyhow. I think HRC was at a disadvantage because of years of ill will against her left and right. I think that’s also why Trump won’t have it so easy in 2020. I also think Trump will be at an unique disadvantage as an incumbent. He’ll actually have to defend HIS record rather than shitting on someone else’s.

That Clinton Baggage™ is so ingrained it did effect people’s view of her no matter the party.

Amazing when you think both Clinton and Trump were extremely well known public characters. Both well know in the media…seen in public for years. Yet, it was the person with the bad record and real character questions that won an election over the impression of “all that baggage.”

I hate it, but messaging works and even idiot Trump knows that. His is a street corner con’s version dressed up, but he knows how to play on people enough to make him dangerous.

He heard all that Clinton baggage as he lived it. He was even seen hanging with them, said he liked them, etc. Then he used it because humans can be so easy and he was on a mission and the Clintons were now in his way.
