And if the Republican congress does keep him around until the 2020 elections, it will only continue to hurt them.

If they dump Trump now, the rabid base kills them.

If they keep Trump in office until the next election, the moderate normal Republicans will kill them.

Either way, they have screwed themselves.

Unless Russia and anonymous hackers help them out.
