Boy can she throw a string of invective when things aren’t going right for her though. Last night she was using her old 1940’s pressure cooker for barley. The safety valve popped for some reason. #!?@!!
We inherited the pressure cooker with the house; the elderly lady who owned it before us apparently hadn’t used in years for the same reason. My wife tracked down the company in India, and it turns out they are still in business, and still make replacement safety valves and rubber seals for this model, so she ordered replacements for both.
