No, but I’m willing to be educated. How will he control my day-to-day life?

We are working on the assumption that the proposals, as in the current bill, pass intact.

You will not be able to purchase any health insurance, without paying a penalty, unless that coverage has been approved by the federal government. Not private, not public, not from another country, no coverage unless it has been approved by the federal government.

The federal government will decide what is adequate cover fro ALL POLICIES, and charge you and/or you employer a penalty if your coverage don’t meet those standards.

So, you have no free choice on coverage. If your coverage (of any sort) is not approved, you will pay 2.5 percent of your adjusted gross yearly salary as a fine.

Your employer will pay 8.0 percent of your adjusted gross yearly salary as a fine if his coverage is not government approved or he decides NOT to offer coverage.

Do you not see that this is designed to become a total control by the feds of your health care needs, with very little input from you?
