By SYG I assume you mean in public, which I do not like in it’s Florida form. Other states have it with stricter language. California does not have it at all. Maybe that’s a good thing. But a price is paid. Defend yourself in public with fists and quite often you find yourself pleading out to misdemeanor assault. I’d like to see that explored and resolved.
I do fully support the castle doctrine in your home, yard, and workplace. Which BTW is straight out SCOTUS law.
