i college i was having lunch in the chinese food section of the food court with my jordanian lab partner. when i pointed out that he was having pork fried rice, he made a hand motion and said, “for the purposes of this lunch i declare it to be chicken”

Whenever they offer some non-kosher food at work, I just say I am a vegan and I’m on a diet.
