I wonder how DC police would react if anyone they arrested for reaction to tonights speech used US POW protocol - Name, SSN (former serial number became SSN while I was on active duty) and rank if any. Simply state Civilian if none. Refusal to accept parole (part of the US Army Code of Conduct) would FUBAR their jail capacity really quickly as well.

The military stopped printing SSNs on ID cards after a bunch of blank cards and a machine were stolen from an Army office in Florida.

My own card has a service number now after I renewed it.
