Oh, in case you were all breathless to know, the chocolate pie was delicious!

I tend to have a problem with custard fillings that don’t set, but this filling was nice and thick. Just perfect!

The oreo crust was a bit rich, I think next time I will just make a plain graham cracker crust.

I’m getting all domesticated and cooking a lot for Jimmah. I was just telling him I miss making him desserts. :-)

That recipe reminds me of this one from epicurious that I made:
Black-Bottom Raspberry Cream Pie

It uses chocolate graham crackers for the crust (and a LOT of butter). It’s probably less sweet than the Oreo crust— might be a nice compromise for you next time you make your chocolate cream one.
