Subs have a purpose, and believe me we need them. China is building better subs, and Iran is building coastal subs. Submarines are crucial to our navy’s needs.

Are you still worried about the missile gap too?

This isn’t 1960. Just what do you know that naval commanders don’t? Do we really need to spend 10 times what any other country spends on our military?
