Manafort’s running a shit show and he knows it. He’s admitting that Trump isn’t interested in the primaries or the basics of politics. He doesn’t get or care that the GOP success hinges on maintaining an advantage in the House in numbers. Presidential candidates have to support down ticket races in order to get their agenda’s adopted.

He simply cares about only winning the presidency. Doesn’t care about next steps.

Meanwhile, Hillary’s busy not only reaching out to the GOP in states like Colorado so that she can win in November, but is doing the heavy lifting on preparing what comes next. She’s working to build the Democratic party by helping down ticket races.

That’s the critical thing in order to do everything from getting judicial nominees confirmed to passing budgets and the regular order of business. It also means the end to the GOP obstructionism.
