Is there anyway to explain to former GOP voters that Trump did not happen overnight in a fucking bubble?

God, I am so sick of this “OMG this is horrible what Trump is doing” horseshit which is then followed by “Sure I voted GOP for 30 years, but that had nothing to do with the current situation.”

This country is a fucking ignorant backwater that is armed to the teeth and populated with people who would willingly end the world because Jesus.

I’ve said it here a lot but without Reaganism and Bushism, you don’t get Trump. I appreciate that some Republican voters are bothered by Trump but at the same time, I want them to look at the people and policies tehy supported before him.
