Heroin is the one drug that scares the hell out of me.

When I was stationed in Germany in another lifetime, the Taliban was financing it’s fight against the Soviets with the sale of hash through Germany so far so good (and I do mean good, ya know :) Then came a batch laced with opium. Got you as high as a 747 and you just didn’t care. After that I said Nope and stopped even doing the plain hash out of concern that it would be more of that. Made me much more cautious with pain pills too.
