That’s true. Ilhan Omar has not been shot as President Ronald Reagan or Rep. Steve Scalise were. (Rep. Leo Ryan is the only major politician in my living memory who was assassinated, but that was not for political reasons, it was for religious reasons. Come to think about it, Rep. Omar is being demonised for religious reasons amongst others.)
