Riddle me this:

America is “allegedly” the greatest free nation and greatest democracy the planet has ever seen (that would be American Expceptionalism I’m talking about).

Why then:

- Do we have a major government agency who hasn’t had a permanent head in 6 years?
- Do we have a congress who has NOT been able to pass a budget in YEARS, relying on damaging stopgap spending messages?
- Are we about to go over the so-called Fiscal Cliff when it all it would take is some common sense to come to a reasonable solution?
- Are there a good percentage of us willing to go to war simply because we don’t like the idea of a few extra requirements for owning guns?
- Are people dying and living in pain because they cannot afford the astronomical cost of health care or the high premiums of health insurance?

You do realize that the “Canadian running down America” is rather trite, eh?
