One of those niggling issues that legal pot will force to be resolved-LAPD is now using swabs at checkpoints and checking for booze, pot, coke and a couple other drugs. What is a little upsetting is they don’t have a clue where to set the DUI boundary as in ,08 alcohol. Oh and if you refuse the swab there is no penalty for now. Expect the policeman to lie to you about that. Next up, the same drug kit in all the patrol cars for use in traffic stops.

So if you smoked yesterday, will they claim you are stoned driving today? Next week?
